I guess I’ll have to start updating the site regularly again..   :)

Dean Demonstrates Democrats Deify Alinsky

March 9th, 2009

Rule 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
Rule 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”

Dean delivers
:
“You expect people to have fun, and it was fun, but enough is enough,” he said. “The reason it’s fun is because it’s true.”

Actually, Mr. Dean, the reason it’s fun is because it’s a lie and distracts the American people from questioning your Marxist Dear Leader.

Democrats love to lie. They follow a manual dedicated to the Author of Lies.

Robert Gibbs is irritatingly dishonest. And stupid.

March 3rd, 2009

Well at least we know that intelligence and honesty are not important traits of an Obama press secretary. That is all which can explain how Robert Gibbs can get up on the podium and diminish the office of the president by using his position to attack private citizens with lies.

By now, anyone who wants to be informed has heard what Rush Limbaugh has said about Obama. He wants the Marxist agenda to fail. Wow. Big shocker. A conservative would like to see a Marxist fail in turning America into yet another failed Marxist state. But of course, Robert Gibbs treats Obama supporters like the morons they must be by saying that Limbaugh would like to see the economy fail.

Seriously. I question the intelligence of anyone who actually believes Robert Gibbs is accurately reflecting what Limbaugh has said. And if you have to confront your opposition by stubbornly arguing strawmen, it demonstrates you are weak. And if you have to spend even 5 seconds addressing radio personalities from the Office of the President of the United States, you are pathetic and weak. You think Limbaugh is tough? Try confronting Iran, Mr. President. Oh right. Your plan is to roll on your back, expose your belly, and beg the Middle East for forgiveness of sins we haven’t committed.

Obama is weak. His press secretary is weak. Pathetic and weak.

Nevermind that capital flowing out of Russia behind the curtain, the US is about to be demolished

November 25th, 2008

Zzzzz.

Russia just isn’t as good at propaganda as it used to be. Money is flowing out of Russia so fast they have to shut down the markets, their government destroys their own companies in order to buy them at bargain basement prices, and they still haven’t learned that market economies need to diversify in order to survive things like, oh, I don’t know… the drop in the price of oil.

But Drudge gives this professor of propaganda and self-described “political analyst” a platform to scare the susceptible population of the US: the woefully uneducated, self-loathing “progressives” who know nothing about Seward’s Folly, the demographic make-up of the United States or the condition of Russia’s financial situation.

Russia’s people lied to and manipulated, just like old times..

November 18th, 2008

A truly frightening look at how the worldwide economic slow down is effecting Russia, its ruling elite, and the common people..

Russia’s crumbling economy provides stiffest test yet for autocratic leader – Telegraph

<snip>

The survey’s findings are a triumph for the state, proving that the Kremlin has not lost its touch when it comes to manipulating fact. Obeying orders from the top, Russian television has banned the use of words such as “crisis”, “decline” and “devaluation”. Coverage of the mayhem in the country’s stock market, where shares have fallen by 75 per cent since August, is scant.

Instead, just as in Soviet times, Russians are told how bad everything is in the West. The US, Russians are told, is in irreversible decline, while desperate Britons are throwing themselves into the Thames. The Queen, facing imminent penury, has been forced to pawn her diamonds and, according to one tabloid front page, we can no longer afford to bury our dead.

<snip>

“They said that if I didn’t sign then I could look forward to burying my own children,” Svetlana says. “What kind of country do we live in? I thought we were close to becoming a civilised nation, but I’ve been forced to realise that that is an illusion.”

Read the whole thing. The US relationship with Russia, and how it impacts our new allies in the former Soviet satellites, will be one of the real ugly situations that President Obama will have to deal with.

How BS is Manufactured

November 14th, 2008

An object lesson in how the media manufactures controversy when there is none, this article is a string of words put together to produce nothing but crap.

Some Republican governors tell CNN they were not particularly happy with the way the Republican Governors Association press conference was executed Thursday, saying that they agreed to go as a show of GOP governors’ unity — but they ended up feeling like silent Palin supporters, since it was clearly a press conference called for her.

The GOP governors spoke to CNN on condition of anonymity.

One called it awkward: “I’m sure you could see it on some of our faces.”

Another Republican governor eyeing a presidential run in 2012 told CNN the event was “odd” and “weird,” and said it “unfortunately sent a message that she was the de facto leader of the party.”

There has been palpable tension among some GOP governors gathered in Miami that Palin has been sucking up all the media oxygen.

Oh okay, so what does CNN want us to take away from this? Palin is getting all the attention and some people are jealous? Notice not one of the alleged complainers is named.

This is the sorry state of journalism. Petty crap peddled on the front page of major news websites and the use of anonymous sources to protect CNN sources from what, exactly? Palin giving them a dirty look? And there are people out there who read this and accept it as fact that “all the governors” are mad at either Palin or the media for this “tragedy.”

If CNN had any serious news editors this wouldn’t have made the website or live air and the writer of the piece would be sent back to the tape library for six months of archiving duties. Pitiful.

Annenberg FactCheck.Org Not Sticking to Facts

November 13th, 2008

If I want Obama-surrogate talking points, I can go to change.gov for his policy description du-jour. I really don’t need FactCheck.org run by the Annenberg Public Policy Center (PPC) to act as yet another arm of the Obama machine. There’s a good reason the Annenberg PPC has to use quotes to call itself a “nonpartisan, nonprofit “consumer advocate” for voters.” That’s because FactCheck.org, the Annenberg PPC and the Annenberg Foundation all serve as advocates for the Annenberg Foundation which was founded to “advance the public well-being through improved communication.”

To do what?

To advance the public well-being through improved communication.

Okay so who defines “well-being” and “improved communication,” Improved to communicate what? Convince us all we have problems and Obama-style marxism will solve it?

At any rate, Brooks Jackson offers ZERO evidence to support the assertion that Barack Obama’s Civilian National Security Force will be “unarmed” and have no police powers. He doesn’t go to Obama and seek clarification. Instead, Brooks Jackson posts a transcript of the relevant stump speech Obama made when first announcing his plans for a Civilian National Security Force. He then offers his analysis of what the speech means. This is not “fact checking,” any more than political punditry is news. And this is the big problem in our news media today (not to mention the state of education). Not even journalists or professional “facticians” can distinguish a fact from an opinion.

I will assume because he block-quotes the transcript that CQ Transcriptions, and not Brooks Jackson, breaks the speech into paragraphs. If you listen to the speech and then read the transcript, it is quite apparent that the two ideas, “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set,” and “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded,” go right together. In fact, it is not that the first sentence ends one idea and the second begins another. Based on his speech, the first sentence begins the idea and the second elucidates.

Add to this the use of the words “Security Force” by POTUS-elect Obama. Security is used as an adjective here. What kind of force? A security force. So that means something that secures or provides protection. And what is a “force”? Well even if you were thinking of AmeriCorps or the Peace Corps or any other corps, it is “a body of persons or things available for a particular end.”

Hmmm, what end? National Security.

I’m not here to claim that Obama is talking about secret police or neighbors spying on neighbors or brown shirts or Obama Youth or anything else. I’m here to call Brooks Jackson out and claim that he cannot defend Obama’s idea factually without interviewing Obama or finding an interview of Obama explaining this idea.

Can Brooks Jackson appreciate the irony of writing an opinion piece under the factcheck.org brand name? Only he can say.

Dear 52

November 7th, 2008

Dear 52,

You cannot demand respect while attacking and alienating other minority groups. It was either Jesus or Obama who said you cannot see the speck in your brother’s eye without first removing the beam in yours.

Just sayin,

Hope and Change and Down the Memory Hole

November 7th, 2008

Obama’s plan to “require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year” has already been hopenchanged to “setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free”

Wow. Down the memory hole. Kinda.

Hopey Changey Servitude

How changeable the president-elect and his policy are. Very hokey hopey.

Dear 52

November 7th, 2008

Dear 52,

I forgive you. I even forgive you for the things you don’t yet acknowledge you did. But we can’t be friends anymore unless I see a real change in you. You crossed a boundary and I respect myself too much to allow you to do it again.

When the times comes that things are not going your way, we will see if you have learned from experience. Maybe then we can be friends again.

I will still smile at you as we pass each other and wish you well, but you must go your way and I will go mine. I hope you understand.

Love always,

Let not your hearts be troubled..

November 5th, 2008

I’m very thankful that this election season is finally over. It was too long for my tastes.

Although I didn’t vote for Barack Obama, and I do believe that John McCain would have been a better choice for America’s future, I do feel the need to congratulate President-elect Obama on his resounding victory and his historical precedent. May his victory last night be a sign that all of America can put behind us some of the ugly racial history that we share. May it be one more step towards a future where all Americans can recognize that the racial divisions of the past are just that: of that past.

And I also wish to acknowledge that his victory was a clear victory and that I respect our nation and our system of government enough to state unequivocally that I will support President Obama on the world stage and will work hard to avoid underminiing him when we need to present a united front to our enemies and allies alike. I think this was one of the most disturbing parts or the last 8 years and I pray that conservatives will not stoop to the low position that so many liberals have stooped to recently.Heated internal debates about domestic policy are to be expected, but when facing down rogue nations and mortal enemies, the President deserves our support simply because he is the President. Period.

Whether you voted for Obama or not, he is Our American President, and he deserves our respect and support when facing such a troubled time in such a troubled world. May God guide President Obama’s hand and help him to be the best President he can be.

Maxed out Obama Donor says Joe the Plumber Fair Game for Investigation

October 28th, 2008

Remember, we can judge his administration by this campaign. Has Barack Obama come out to repudiate the Ohio officials involved in the complete invasion of the privacy of Joe the Plumber?

Okay, so let’s review:

Joe the Plumber asks Barack Obama a question when Barack Obama showed up in his neighborhood asking for votes.

The answer to this question revealed Barack Obama to be an old-school socialist and caused undecided voters to be repulsed by the idea of wealth redistribution.

Barack Obama’s supporters in Ohio, including a woman who has contributed the maximum donation of $2300, used government computers to start investigating Joe Wurzelbacher.

This woman, Helen Jones-Kelley, has responded to press inquiries about the use of government computers to investigate a private citizen who asked a question of Barack Obama that Ohio “practice is when someone is thrust quickly into the public spotlight, we often take a look.”

Well, some people aren’t buying this.

New category added for Obama Thug Government Officials in case we need to spend four years tracking this kind of more “fair” government behavior.

Geraldine Ferraro parrots a guy parroting dKos

October 27th, 2008

So the left’s new “Barack as Jesus” story is that Luke supports Obama’s economic policies because “to whom much is given, much is required.”

Well, here’s the thing. The people making this argument are ignorant of the Bible and they rely on the people who nod their head in agreement to be just as ignorant.

Here is the parable in which Jesus discusses what is required when one has Knowledge of the Truth:

Luk 12:42-48 And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall set over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? (43) Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. (44) Of a truth I say unto you, that he will set him over all that he hath. (45) But if that servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and the maidservants, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; (46) the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he expecteth not, and in an hour when he knoweth not, and shall cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the unfaithful. (47) And that servant, who knew his lord’s will, and made not ready, nor did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes; (48) but he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. And to whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom they commit much, of him will they ask the more.

Now, do you really think Jesus is talking about your income? Do you think Jesus is talking about a government mandated tax? Or do you think Jesus was instructing his disciples to work diligently while the Master is away, since they knew the Truth, doing what they were told to do? Yes, Dear Left Ones, this parable is about Knowing God and doing His Will, not following your own whims and desires.

Do you know what else is in the Bible?

2Th 3:7-10 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; (8) Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: (9) Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. (10) For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

Here’s the other concept you on the Left seem to be ignorant of: Jesus said to render unto Caesar that which is Caesar and render unto God that which is God’s. You on the Left seem to believe that ministering to the poor is something you render unto Caesar. It explains why you set up the false dilemma that you either have to support government welfare programs or else you are a greedy, selfish person. Ministering unto the poor is something that requires no law of man. It is the Will of God that we should be kind to the poor. No Obama required.

Shelby Holliday knows how to investigate and report the news

October 27th, 2008

Attention Katie Couric, Charlie Gibson, David Gregory: your jobs are in danger. Americans are fed up with your DNC talking points in place of real investigative news and this college student knows more about journalism and integrity than all of you put together.

Imagine if Sarah Palin threw this kind of temper tantrum

October 25th, 2008

The media has been warned. Softballs only, or no access. No wonder Joe Biden is warning Americans that Obama is a wimp. They’re all wimps in that campaign.

Biden so disliked West’s line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate’s wife.

“This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election,” wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.

McGinnis said the Biden cancellation was “a result of her husband’s experience yesterday during the satellite interview with Barbara West.”

There is an unbelievable double-standard in the media and among Obama supporters. Those who ridicule Palin for whatever media sins she has committed are tossing stones from glass houses.

Obama is Not a Democrat

October 23rd, 2008

Americans better wake up and quickly to the reality that Obama is not a Democrat. He is Socialist New Party running AS a Democrat.

Let me give an example on the right. Ron Paul is a Libertarian. He runs as a Republican, but he’s a Libertarian. He will tell you this, his supporter will tell you this, his friends will tell you this. He’s up front about it. What you see is what you get.

Barack Obama ran for his Illinois Senate Seat as a Democrat who evidently signed a pledge to the Chicago New Party. I say evidently because of two facts regarding the Chicago New Party: 1) they only endorsed candidates who signed a pledge to the ideals of the Chicago New Party; 2) they endorsed Barack Obama and considered his election to the Illinois Senate as a win in their column.

Therefore, assuming they did not lie to their own members, Barack Obama made some form of oath to the Chicago New Party platform.

Now if Barack Obama wants to run as a Democrat but have allegiance to another party’s platform and ideals, that’s fine – so long as it’s public. Ron Paul does it on the right. He’s totally upfront about it. That’s the difference, besides ideological, between Ron Paul and Barack Obama. Barack Obama is running a game.

But don’t think some of his supporters don’t realize this. It’s those undecideds who are being deceived.

Tell everyone you know that Barack Obama is running a game. It’s called, “Complete Socialist Takeover of the DNC.” This is not your Grandad’s Democrat Party.

Vote For Obama…

The Comprehensive Argument Against Barack Obama, by Guy Benson and Mary Catherine Ham

Bob Shrum: Total Jerk

October 21st, 2008

I call him, “Bob,” but that’s not the name his mother gave him. If he had any integrity at all, according to his own logic, he would be going by “Robert.” Where does he get off adding a “B” and removing an “R” from his name. Nevermind the lost “ert!”

And if that deception wasn’t enough, he calls himself a “political consultant,” by trade and even accepts money for it, but he’s never helped a single client win the office of President of the United States. And he’s had at least 5 of them. FIVE!

But here he is, joining in the ridiculous Democrat chorus, singing, “Joe the Plumber, yesterday’s gimmick, isn’t a plumber and he isn’t even named Joe.”

Well, Robert, you’re not a political consultant and you’re not even named Bob.

All silliness aside (hey I just realized that “Jack” Kennedy’s name was really John. The deceiver!), here is “Bob” the “political consultant,” calming democrat nerves about the election. I thought Barack was a 100% guarantee to win. Why in the world would anyone be nervous about him losing?

Hawaii Learns Econ101 the Hard Way

October 17th, 2008

Offer anything for free and there will be takers. This is basic. Offer something of actual value for free and there will be more takers than the supply can handle.

Evidently Hawaii structured their universal child health insurance plan so that any child without insurance would qualify. The problem? Parents dropped their children from their out-of-pocket insurance plan. So their children would qualify for state-provided insurance. Which bankrupted the insurance program. So the state ended the entire program.

So what part of “universal” did Hawaii not understand? They structured the law and the program and marketing as universal and now they are shocked! shocked! that parents flocked universally to the universal coverage which is now described by officials as “not intended” to cover children whose parents can afford private insurance.

Madonna’s Just Jealous

October 16th, 2008

This makes sense:

in light of this:

Madonna, now 50, spent several days in hospital after crashing from the polo horse on her Wiltshire estate on her 47th birthday.

She broke four ribs, her collar bone, scapula and her left knuckle in the accident, which she later described as “the most painful experience of my life”.

In an interview with The Sun shortly after the fall, film director Guy said he remained calm following the incident because he knew his wife was “too tough” to die.

But we can reveal that the truth behind the episode was that Madonna felt 40-year-old Guy “abandoned her emotionally”.

And she became so embittered over his “shabby treatment” that she told pals at the time: “He can’t possibly be my soulmate.”

and this:

Get over it, Madge. Rub your little red string and remember the lessons of your “Kabbalah Karma” class.
