Hope and Change and Down the Memory Hole
7 November 2008Obama’s plan to “require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year” has already been hopenchanged to “setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free”
Wow. Down the memory hole. Kinda.
How changeable the president-elect and his policy are. Very hokey hopey.

I do truly believe that we all have to be united and focused if we are to stop Washington.
So we have to push for term limits and state sovereignty.
We cannot afford to put all of our hopes in just one solution.
Go to the tea parties on the 4th write those in Washington I write them every day.
Let them know that the sleeping giant has awakened and we do have a terrible resolve.
A resolve to take back our nation, a resolve to take back our constitution, a resolve to take back our sovereignty.
For if not I do truly believe that WE WILL LOOSE ALL

I like what paultec said. We have to get active ourselves if we want to see change.
I’ve been looking for a way to take action and contact our legislators and sign petitions and found some good policy the U.S. Chamber of Commerce backs (here). I don’t have a lot of money or time, but I figure this will help other people do good.
