This website is here to promote political dialog. For many years I allowed anyone who wanted to post their own stories here to do so as well. What I found, however, is that this approach led to a completely ridiculous amount of total junk to be added to my blog. It honestly became an embarrassment for me. I grew tired of having to explain to anyone who asked for my email address why they should not associate me with the content on my own website.
Anyway, I finally got fed up with all of the garbage on my own website and I shut it down. I’m creating this new site now so that I can be proud of what is here, for a change. I will allow comments here, but I will keep a bit tighter control on who actually posts stories.
Do I recognize the irony of a website called FreeSpeech.com that doesn’t allow a free for all for everyone? I certainly do! Do I really care if you are unhappy about my new policy? I certainly don’t!
With all of the free blogging tools out there, I’m sure you can find a place to express yourself in any manner you should so choose, and I recommend you do that. If you’d have registered this domain before I did (1994) then you could be running the show here instead of me.
If you are a person who believes that America is still the “shining beacon on the hill” for the world and that, while we have our flaws, we are the best game going for the oppressed of the world, then you and I probably have a lot in common. If you are brave enough to recognize the fact that we are now in a struggle for our very survival against the forces of radical Islamic jihadism, the new fascism of this age, and you’re interested in helping me open the eyes of our fellow citizens, then drop me a line. I can use all the help I can get.
If you’re convinced that President Bush is a Nazi and all the worlds problems come from the fact that we try to defend ourselves, and all the world’s ills flow from American foreign policy, then I honestly don’t have time to bother with debating you. Go over to DailyKOS or some other gathering of blind fools, and have fun! I haven’t the time or the energy to listen to such blind blathering.
